Artist statement
I create because of the people around me and the world itself, with all its relationships, science, philosophy, and emotions, evoke questions I cannot capture in words. Only through making can I express what I feel.
This has driven me to the use of immersive storytelling, such as; Kinetic sculptures, Projection mapping, and Real-Time visuals.
In my work, I use the physical and the digital to make a cohesive audiovisual symphony. This further supports the different perceptions and interrelations that I communicate via the interactive aspects of the installations.
In “An Ode to Heartbreak” I explore these interconnections by comparing an interpretation of Sarah Kane’s work to lovesickness towards the way the world works.
“Hearted roots” Is a full-dome motion capture mime performance with live music. Creating a concord of these non-physical and physical elements.
My background in Film and Art (history) dissolves the lines of the different media and allows them to freely flow and communicate with each other to make my work borderless and ever evolving.
